Feywood Grove

We breed Black Australorp chickens on our farm. They are a heritage breed that are good for both egg and meat production. Excellent free-rangers, the Australorps have had the best luck with predator avoidance of all the breeds we have tried here on the farm. They are a large bird that blends well into the landscape giving them an advantage when it comes to our local predators: coyotes, foxes, racoons, and weasels. Egg production in this breed is amazing with daily large brown eggs being the norm. We have day old chicks available for sale throughout the summer and sell eggs as well.
